Stormy January over western Europe, 2018

2018 began with a series of four strong wind storms over Western Europe. In particular, two major events pounded the continent: Storm Eleanor on January 3, and Storm Friederike on January 18.

Storm Desmond brings heavy rain to the UK, December 2015

A fierce Atlantic storm, Desmond, struck parts of northern England, southern Scotland and Ireland the first weekend in December 2015, with a new national record for rainfall accumulation in a 24-hour period.
